8 Foundations of Network Marketing That You MUST Follow By Heart

There are 8 Foundations of Network Marketing

A lot of network marketers “as they call themselves” are not successful in network marketing industry. And they blame everything. They blame the company, they blame the product, they blame the leadership and even the person who sponsored them did not manage to escape.

law of sowing and reapingBut one thing that these people didn’t blame is themselves. They forgot that this industry is all about them. They forgot the universal law – “Law of Sowing and Reaping“. They forgot that they have to plant first before they can harvest.  This is the reason why i am sharing to you the 8 foundations of network marketing that i know can help them what they need to have during the plantation.

Here’s the 8 foundations of network marketing.

1. Edifications

Edification is all about recognizing, appreciating, acknowledging or building up the person’s image (or product or company) to your prospect or to someone. When you edify your (mentor / partner / cross-lines / company / product / compensation / support) to someone; you are building a good image and credibility that anything he says or about it is true and correct. If you apply this practice and your prospects or business partners sees this in you – i am pretty sure you have now a huge group or networks.

2. No Cross-Linings

The word cross-line refers to the other distributor in your company that belongs to other group that you are the head / upline / mentor. Meaning, the group that you are building which is under you is your business – your group. The rest – they are your cross-lines.

No cross-lining refers to not discussing the business matter (your business and your downlines/partners business) to your cross-line. You can share anything except that. In fact, you are not even advice to share their contacts as this would create problems in the future.

There is a thin line here. It is just up to you how you define this. However, as a best practice – cross-lining is not advice.

3. Consultations

Always and always and always consult. Do not assume. If you are in doubt – consult.

As a starter of this business. To make sure that you are doing things right; you must consult to your mentors. Do not be arrogant. You dont know everything – so consultation is the key.

You want to be successful in your MLM business – consult with your mentor.

4. Reading books / eBooks, watching videos & listening audio books

How can you grow with your business if you dont want to learn? Learning and applying what you’ve learn helps you run your business fast and right. There are a lot of trainings coming from great speakers and successful network marketers. To name a few; Robert Kiyosaki, Jim Rohn, Bryan Tracey, Randy Gage and many more.

Learning and applying what you’ve read helps you grow your business fast and stable.

5. Attend all meetings / training’s

I know most of the times – trainings and meetings are boring. Especially if you are just there to sit down and listen. And this does not add income to your business. However, if this is how you behave and views about meetings and training. No wonder your business did not grow and prosper.

You need to attend these meetings and trainings. You need to share your views and you need to participate.  Here’s why;

  • Your downlines or business partners will do the same – they will duplicate you
  • you and your group will be energize and will have more enthusiasm
  • You will receive good news right away and issues can be solved immediately – coz you can asked for help or even more – the training is all about your concern
  • training is beneficial for the growth of the group

6. Integrity

This is one of the hardest task – to maintain integrity. We are human and we are bound to commit issues and (bad or good) circumstances along the way. We are all into the sickness of EXCUCITES.

However, there are other leaders manage to maintain their integrity in our business. Such as by looking at this few concerns;

  • Be on time based on the time you have committed to your prospect or even to your business partners / downlines.
  • Avoid bad-mouthing your mentors, cross-lines, company, products and worse to your business partners / downlines. In fact, this is so duplicable that when they see this in you – they’ll follow.
  • and many more…

7. Commitment

When you commit the time to business partners or to your prospects. Or even to your mentors – DO IT.

You join an MLM company and wants to be successful in your business. This can be achieved if you are committed to be there and let no one will detract you from your commitment.

Commit to your business 101% if possible – and your business will give you back your dreams…

8. Duplication

The key to be successful in network marketing industry is DUPLICATION. You must be duplicated the way you do the following;

  • name listing – updating your list to 100 names all the time
  • prospecting – having the prospects from WARM market and COLD market
  • sponsorship – the way you increase your direct sponsors / referrals from your prospect lists
  • business presentations
    • one-on-one or two-on-one presentation
    • house presentation
    • office presentation
  • product knowledge
  • business and compensation expertise

You do this and everything will fall on your lap and your business will soar high.
